Permanent Brows

Permanent brows are cosmetic tattoos designed to enhance your natural brows by improving shape, symmetry, and fullness. The are different than traditional body art tattoos. At Du Artistry, we use advanced machine-based techniques to create soft, natural-looking results that are customized to your face and skin type.

What to Expect from Permanent Brows

Permanent brows are not a one-and-done service. Achieving beautiful, long-lasting results is a process that often requires more than one session. Some people can be done with one session, but everyone is different. We have different skin type, health and lifestyles that can affect how the brows heal.

Initial Session

  • Creates the foundational shape and color

  • Brows will appear darker and bolder immediately after the appointment, and within the next few days.

  • Healing occurs in stages over several weeks. Trust the process.

Perfecting Touch-Up (6–8 Weeks Later)

  • Recommended to achieve the desired result

  • Enhances depth, dimension, and pigment retention

  • Refines shape and color after healing

  • Not required, but highly encouraged for best results

Realistic Expectations & Healing

Healing and pigment retention vary from client to client and depend on multiple factors, including:

  • Skin type

  • Overall health and lifestyle

  • How well pre-care and after-care instructions are followed

  • Previous cosmetic tattoo work

Trusting the process is essential. Brows will soften, lighten, and settle as they heal before reaching their final appearance.

  • Clients with previous permanent brow work must contact Du Artistry for approval before booking

  • Booking without approval may result in forfeiture of the retainer fee

Nano Realistic Hairstrokes

Nano realistic hairstrokes use an ultra-fine needle and machine to implant pigment into the skin in precise, hair-like strokes.

Why choose this technique:

  • Creates the most natural brow look

  • Ideal for enhancing shape without looking filled-in

  • Great for clients who wears minimal to no makeup daily

  • Offers the flexibility to fill in their brows with makeup when necessary.

Best for:

  • Normal to dry skin types

  • Those wanting a subtle, natural results

* Two or more sessions that are 6-8 weeks apart (also known as Perfecting Sessions) are most likely needed to achieve desired results and dimension, although not required.

Nano Shading/Combo Brows

Nano shading uses a machine to softly layer pigment in tiny pixels through the body and tail of the brow, creating a gentle, powdered effect that looks like softly applied makeup. Hairstrokes are also added to the front of the brows and strategically throughout parts of the body of the brows.

Why choose this technique:

  • Adds fullness and definition while staying soft

  • More durable than hairstrokes on many skin types

  • Heals evenly and beautifully over time

Best for

  • All skin types, including combination and slightly oily skin

  • Clients who want a polished but natural look

  • Those who fill in their brows lightly with makeup

* May need to come back for the Perfecting Session 6-8 weeks after the initial session to achieve desired results and add more depth and dimension. Recommended, but not required.

Powder Ombre

Powder ombre brows create a soft, gradient effect similar to brows filled in with a brow pencil, brow pomade, or brow powder. The most common ombre effect is usually lighter at the front and gradually deeper toward the tail.

Why choose this technique:

  • Provides the most definition and longevity

  • Offers a clean, structured look without harsh lines

  • Heals consistently and evenly

Best for:

  • All skin types, including oily and mature skin

  • Clients who prefer a more defined or makeup-style brow
